Printmaking

This is an interesting course that I seldom touch or had not notice at all that it is related. This is printmaking course of semester 1. The daily stamping of dates and chop of signature, all these are related to printmaking. Printmaking is the art of inking on paper. In this course, we were required to carve on different materials to ink and print on paper. We had freedom to carve anything on the surface and the teacher was very helpful and gave us advice. The material that was required us to carve on is wood, linoleum and cardboard. There is also another method that is sticking items onto wood then apply ink to print. This method of doing gives a different effect to the outcome. Here are some pictures of the carved assignments.
